Arkansas State Plan of Operations The Arkansas WIC Program is required by United States Department of Agriculture/Food and Nutrition Service (USDA/FNS) to submit an annual State Plan of Operations as a pre-requisite to receiving funds. The plan must include information specified in the Federal WIC Regulations (7 CFR 246). The Plan describes how the state will operate the WIC Program. The final plan and any changes must be approved by FNS.
The Arkansas WIC Program accepts comments on the State Plan at any time. Comments on the State Plan can be sent to Merry Howe at merry.howe@arkansas.gov or the the WIC Program at wic.program@arkansas.gov
