ARthritis Health Program

Partnership

The Arkansas Arthritis Advisory Group consists of approximately 25 organizations with a common interest of reducing the burden of arthritis and other rheumatic conditions of Arkansans. The advisory group addressed specific arthritis issues including surveillance, education and communication, and programs policies and systems.

The objective of the council was to develop a state arthritis plan modeled by the National Arthritis Action Plan. The focus of the plan is to bring public awareness, education and resource information about arthritis in a joint effort to increase a better quality of life for Arkansans.
