Little Rock—The
Arkansas Department of Health is soliciting two Request
for Proposals. The first is to develop and provide tobacco
prevention training for Arkansas Department of Health
colleagues and their community partners. The second
is to provide tobacco cessation services to include
the development and implementation of a tobacco cessation
help line and statewide cessation services network for
Arkansas. Both of these activities will be funded through
tobacco settlement funds. The expected award date is
August 2002.
