Since the services of the Louisiana Vital Records Office have been restored, the Arkansas Vital Records Section of the Division of Health, Arkansas Department of Health and Human Services, will no longer assist those needing a Louisiana birth certificate.
Beginning November 7, all requests for Louisiana Vital Records documents must be processed by Louisiana Vital Records. Normal fees will be charged.
