Little Rock — The Arkansas Department of Health is pleased to announce the appointment of the following individuals to the Advisory Committee on Healthcare Associated Infections created by Act 845 of 2007, sponsored by Representatives Johnnie Roebuck (D) of Arkadelphia and Tracy Pennartz (D) of Fort Smith:

The purpose of the advisory committee is to assist the Department in the development of all aspects of the methodology for collecting, analyzing, and disclosing the data collected under Act 845 of 2007.  In addition, the committee will assist the Department in evaluating the quality and accuracy of the data reported.
