Little Rock -- The Van Buren County Health Unit at 526 Quality Drive in Clinton will re-open Thursday at 8:00 a.m. according to Don Murray, Northwest Region Director for the Arkansas Department of Health.

“Temporary roof protection is currently being applied,” Murray said. “Our staff worked hard last night supporting the rescue and recovery efforts. They established an offsite location to provide tetanus vaccinations to citizens today.”

Murray said that the Health Unit has been restored to full connectivity with computer, telephone and fax service today. Residents with questions or concerns can call the Heath Unit at 501-745-2485.
