Little
Rock—The Arkansas Department of Health is sponsoring
an abstinence youth rally titled "Leading Our Generation
Aug. 23-34, 2002 at Harding University in Searcy.
The
rally begins with a Friday night kickoff party including
games, a cookout and special entertainment with Lakita
Garth. Garth is an urban inspirational recording artist,
professional entertainer and a former Miss Black America
California.
Saturday
includes several activities for adults and students
as well as keynote speaker John Crudele. Crudele is
a recognized authority and celebrated professional speaker
on youth and family issues.
