Little Rock—The
Arkansas Department of Health and the Arkansas
Minority Health Commission will be conducting an
Arkansas Delta BRFSS telephone survey in Lee, Chicot,
Crittenden, Jefferson, Desha, Phillips and St. Francis
counties.
Information collected will be used to
identify health risks in persons in the Delta region
of the state. The survey will focus on the risks and
health practices associated with heart disease, stroke
and diabetes. This information will be used to identify
ways to improve the health of individuals living in
this region.
Individuals who are called are encouraged
to complete the telephone survey, which will take approximately
20 minutes. All information collected from individuals
will remain confidential and will only be released as
a comprehensive report.
