Is an annual permit for operation required for commercial pools in

| A permit for operation is
required annually and is due January 1 each year. The permit fee for pools without a food
service operation is $25.00. The permit fee for pools with food service operations under
common ownership is $10.00. |

| The Arkansas Department of
Health does not regulate single family residential pools. Requirements for fencing for

completely fenced to exclude animals, non bathers and prevent accidents. The fence must be
at least four (4) feet in height with openings no larger than four (4) inches. The gates
